EPLAN Symbols: How to Use Them in Electrical Diagrams
In this lesson, we introduce the basics of EPLAN symbols and show you how to insert them into your power circuit diagrams.
You will get familiar with the IEC 60027 standard, which defines how symbols are designed, ensuring that your electrical schematics are precise and compliant.
Learn how to select and place symbols using the Insert Center, and how to assign properties and additional information to each symbol for better documentation.
Special focus is given to the Protective Earth (PE) terminal — we demonstrate how to define its function and characteristics in EPLAN.
